|  | |  | This unique adventure includes an overnight stay at the beautiful Hotel Torres Del Fuerte in the picturesque town of El Fuerte - one of the most impressive spots in the Copper Canyon basin.
 Surrounded by a tropical jungle in the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains, El Fuerte offers some of Mexico's best bird watching. In the afternoon we'll take a relaxing river raft excursion to observe the region's diverse bird life.
 On Day two, we'll board the "Chepe" Copper Canyon Train for an unforgettable First Class train ride on the famous Copper Canyon railway. The "El Chepe" train boasts an observation car and a dining car to ensure your comfort as you enjoy one of the world's most famous railway journeys.
 The day includes a stop at Cerocahui, the departure point for the Urique Canyon (the deepest of the system) and the Cerro del Gallego viewing point; before returning to El Fuerte in the early afternoon aboard the Chepe train for the scenic flight back to Puerto Vallarta.
 Tour Itinerary:
 Day 1
 10 am: Check in at Aerotron Hangar for 10:30 am departure. Flight over Banderas Bay and Punta de Mita across the states of Nayarit, Sinaloa, Sonora and Chihuahua with flight seeing time over the mammoth Copper Canyon System, which is twice as deep and three times longer than the Grand Canyon.
 12:30 pm: Land at the town of El Fuerte for land transportation to the Hotel Torres del Fuerte. Time to explore the town and enjoy lunch at your leisure.
 5 pm: River tour on the Rio Fuerte. This relaxing river raft excursion will give you a chance to see the incredibly varied bird life of the region.

 Day 2
 8 am: Depart Hotel Torres Del Fuerte for the train station
 8:30 am: Board the famous "El Chepe" Copper Canyon train for a breathtaking First Class ride up into the canyon. The train boasts a dining car and observation car. The train ride between Temoris and Bauichivo is the most impressive portion of the trip. Canyons, cliffs, waterfalls, 37 bridges, 86 tunnels, railway journeys 3 different levels of tracks.
 12:17 pm: Arrive in Bauchivo / Cerocahui. Our land transport takes us to the small town of Cerocahui (45 mins) with its Jesuit Mission, waterfalls and beautiful valleys. This is also the departure point for the Urique Canyon (the deepest of the system) and the Cerro del Gallego viewing point.
 2:17 pm: Train departs Bauichivo for the journey back to El Fuerte.
 6:10 pm: Arrive in El Fuerte. The train station is right next to the airstrip, where we'll take the 3 hour return flight to Vallarta.
 10:10 pm: Arrival in Puerto Vallarta.
