We recommend that you bring a bathing suit, a towel, a light sweater, sunscreen and insect repellent with you. Minimum age 8 years old.

We were on the Sierra Madre tour on Friday January 5, 2007 and loved it. Thanks especially to our guide David. His passion for the jungle and his knowledge of the area absolutely made the tour for us! We would highly recommend your company, and hope to return to the area and try some more excursions. We just got back from Puerto Vallarta and while we were there we took your Sierra Madre tour. I was so impressed with the tour, it was a great experience. My girl friend and I recently had the pleasure of taking the Sierra Madre Jeep tour. This was my second time and her first. We were very privileged to have Brad as our Guide and Super Mario as our Driver. I have been on many tours through your company. I have to say that Brad was by far the best Guide I have ever had. Hi there! I just wanted to say what a great time we had on your Sierra Madre expedition. Personally, I was hesitant at first, but now I see it as a life changing experience. The scenery was beautiful, the food was delicious, the open bar on the way back was delightful surprise - but the most memorable was our tour guide Chava. All of the VA staff we encountered was all very knowledgeable, fun to be around with and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. Now that we have been back in Colorado, we just wanted to let you know what an awesome time we had on the Sierra Madre tour on Tuesday. It is the highlight of our trip. Thank you for showing us the real Mexico and the many things it has to offer. It was great learning about the different plants and animals throughout the cities and the barbecue lunch was killer! (maybe the best we've had in Mexico!) And of course, the tequila shots were a perfect way to end our trip in Mexico. We will definitely be back for a second visit, so don't go anywhere!

I was one of 8 people who had the opportunity to go on your jeep safari tour recently. Since we were from Canada it was especially nice for us to have Brad as our tour guide - also a native Canadian. I was there recently and took the Jeep Safari trip and unfortunately I didn't get a comment card but I wanted to say that our guide JC was totally the best! He made our trip so enjoyable and we told everyone about him. I am sure the other "hosts" are awesome, but JC was the BEST! He gave us so much information about Mexico and very knowledgeable! I just wanted to say thank you so much for the exciting tour in the Sierra Madres last week! I came with a group of teachers for five days and the jeep tour was awesome! I loved the old villages and the tortilla snacks along the way! The best part was getting to know the land and watch the scenery and the trip home with tequila and Gustavo was extraordinary! He was a great guide and very knowledgeable not to mention funny! Two thumbs up... I would recommend this tour to my friends for sure if they come to Puerto Vallarta!

My husband and I were recently in Mexico and took your Sierra Madre tour with J.C. I feel compelled to write and say what a great job J.C did. We were informed and entertained the entire day! We did take another tour while visiting and I'm sorry to say you were booked and we had to go with your competitor. We really found a huge difference in the quality of the tours. We feel your tour (Largely due to J.C) rates a 5 out of 5 while the other tour was only a 2 out of 5. Thank you for such care and effort in putting your tours together and having guides who are well informed and that care about what they do. I was in Puerto Vallarta about a month ago and was able to go on the Sierra Madre adventure. My wife and I had an awesome experience and were very pleased with the trip. I learned a lot and was able to "see" the non-tourist side of Mexico. It was awesome. Our tour guide was Sandra and she was awesome. I could not believe how much she knew and how friendly she was.

My boyfriend and I took the Sierra Madre expedition through Royal Caribbean cruise line on Thursday, 10/27. We just wanted to say that it was probably the best part of our week in Mexico. It was really nice to be able to go into the land and see a real town and meet real natives and see them at work and play. We got to eat hot, fresh handmade tortillas, something we would never get in Atlanta! The jungle hike was very interesting and the beach was gorgeous. (On our other stops on the cruise - Cabos San Lucas and Mazatlan - we were constantly harassed by vendors on the beaches, but not here!) The barbecue lunch on the beach was delicious, much better than I had anticipated. The absolute best part of the expedition was our guide, Gustavo. He had a wonderful personality and sense of humor, and had our entire group laughing and having a great time. We all felt like family by the end, though almost none of us knew each other beforehand. Gustavo answered all of our questions and was full of historical information on Mexico and it's people. Thanks to Gustavo and our driver, Senona, for an excellent time in Puerto Vallarta!

A friend and I had the most incredible time on the Sierra Madre Tour on Sept 21st. Our guide, David, is one of the most knowledgeable and entertaining guides I have ever had the opportunity to spend the day with. He was able to keep the attention of a group of mixed ages and backgrounds as he interpreted local and historical facts.... and don't let me forget our driver the "Mexican Jimmy Hendrix." Hola to all, Our family of 4 went on the Sierra Madre day trip last Wed. (Sept. 21); just wanted to let you know what a great time we had... David was an excellent guide, and we thoroughly enjoyed his knowledge of Mexican history and folklore... we came away from the expedition feeling more informed about Mexican traditions, as well as having fun and eating lots! The food was very good, the drinks were plentiful and even I learned how to drink tequila without it burning on the way down! Thanx again to David and "Jimmy" for a very informative and awesome day!

We just returned from our first Mexico vacation. It won't be our last, in part because of the 2 amazing excursions we took with you. We went on the Jeep Safari with David as our guide. We spent last week in PV and Bucerias and went on both the Sierra Madre and the Las Caletas tours. While the Caletas tour was beautiful and relaxing, nothing came close to the Sierra Madre trip. Our driver was JC and our guide was Karim. He was AMAZING. Knowledgeable, FUN, entertaining... we never had a single second to think about being bored. I was so impressed with his talent. Not only was his English excellent, he did the whole tour in both English and Spanish, as half the "familia" was Spanish speaking and the rest of us English speaking. I never expected to have so much fun! I would recommend this tour, and especially Karim and JC to anyone going to Puerto Vallarta! Thanks Pancho (Karim)!

My husband and I were in Puerto Vallarta last week, celebrating our 30th anniversary. It was by far the best vacation we've ever taken. From the company that helped us put our vacation package together, to the maid that attended our room, everything was super. Part of what made the vacation so memorable for us was the two excursions we took with Vallarta Adventure Tours. On Wed, the day after our anniversary we went on the Sierra Madre Jeep tour. It was so informative, interesting and educational. Most importantly though it was great fun thanks to our guide Brad. He taught us a lot, making the history of Mexico come alive for us and he made sure we were relaxed and having lots of fun while we learned and admired the beautiful scenery surrounding us. Brad made us feel like we were the only tour group that mattered. He was patient with all of us when we interrupted to ask questions. Super job, Brad, thanks bunches. Thanks to our driver J.C., Juan Carlos, for getting us to our destination safely and for slowing down when we wanted to without grumbling. Everyone was just so kind. Before each of the separate groups left we all met together so we had a chance to meet the rest of the guides and drivers and they were all friendly and funny, even when they tried to embarrass me because I was wearing flip flops instead of athletic or hiking shoes. It was all in good fun. We took the Rhythms of the Night tour on Thursday night and again had a great crew that went out of their way to be friendly and see to it that we were enjoying ourselves. The show and dinner were excellent, and Danny and the Captain made sure that the ride back to the marina was relaxing and romantic. It was perfect for a 30th anniversary celebration. Danny, the cruise director, shared with the rest of the group that we were there for our special anniversary celebration and everyone celebrated with us along with 10 couples that were there on their honeymoons. All in all, the week couldn't have been any better. We're both very excited about coming back in November of 2006 and plan to take a couple of other Vallarta Adventure tours then.

I recently visited Puerto Vallarta Mexico with my daughter and 2 grandchildren and participated in the Sierra Madre Expedition... what a fantastic experience! I intended that this trip be a cultural and educational experience for my family and my expectations were far surpassed... thanks mainly to our guide, Angelique. She was an incredible source of information on a wide variety of topics and her passion for sharing her knowledge was very apparent. She is a great asset to your organization! She provide an amazing account of historical background, insights and enthusiasm and demonstrated a sincere desire to share her knowledge with the group. My daughter and I took the Sierra Madre Jeep Safari - and had the time of our life! Mr Rodriguez was our guide, and was the most informative person we met in Vallarta. I recently had the pleasure of going on your Sierra Madre jeep expedition. Our tour guide (Bradley) was amazing! The information he provided us about Mexico, its history, its people - and the passion with which he communicated it - really made us realize how much we need to learn about our environment and the people around us. During my trip to Puerto Vallarta I brought some items and school products for the maid and her children. Bradley suggested that we may want to bring some of those materials to the surrounding schools. I was hoping to send you (or him) a box or two of school supplies for the kids in the area.
