Q: What's included in my Vallarta Adventure trip?
A: At Vallarta Adventure, our goal is to provide you with the most rewarding adventure travel experience of your life! Our tours include:

All meals and beverages* except where specifically excluded
Sightseeing, activities, and equipment as noted in the trip itinerary
Costs for a typical Vallarta Adventure trip vary according to the activity and destination. However, the items listed above are some common elements which apply to most trips. The specific itinerary for each excursion will give you more complete information pertaining to your specific interests. Please check your itinerary for more information or call one of our consultants at 011 (52)(322)297-1212. Airfare from your home to Puerto Vallarta, hotel accommodations, and airfare for your return trip home are not included. Transport from your hotel to the starting points of each tour is not included.
* Alcoholic beverages are not served before lunch time or any sports activities. The minimum drinking age on all of our adventure tours is 21.

A: Whale season is from December to April.
Q: What do I need to bring and where do I depart from?
A: First and foremost, bring your spirit of adventure! After you complete your reservation, we will email your confirmation statement, which will contain all the information you will be needing for your adventure.
Q: Can I create a custom itinerary and/or book a private trip?
A: Yes! Does the idea of a private departure for your friends, family, business colleagues, school, or other special interest group sound appealing? Our team of adventure experts are more that happy to put together special dates and arrangements that fit your needs. Q: Are there any extra taxes to pay on the tours?
A: Sales tax is included in the price of all our tours. There is however a port tax at Puerto Vallarta's Marina terminal of 15 pesos (approx $1.50 usd) which guests must pay upon entering the terminal. This tax does not apply to Nuevo Vallarta.
Q: How do I sign up for my Vallarta Adventure tour?
A: Ready to go? Signing up is easy! You can reserve your adventures at our secure online reservation area or fax us the form at 011(52)(322)297-1252. You may also give us a call at 011 (52)(322) 297-1212. You can make all your payments by credit card - an excellent way for frequent flyers to rack up even more mileage with mileage-earning credit cards. Or if you have a favorite travel agent, he or she can book your trip instead. Then leave the rest to us. Before you go, we provide you with necessary information concerning your excursion, including your confirmation number, session time, departure location, and our cancellation policy.
Q: What are the penalties for canceling my tour?
A: To ensure that no one is disappointed, Vallarta Adventure does not overbook tours. When you book your trip with us, your reservation is guaranteed. We hope you will understand that in order to maintain this commitment to our guests, it follows that we must also have a cancellation policy. At the time we receive notice that you must cancel your trip, the following fees will apply. (All dates are from the excursion date.)
30 days and more prior to excursion date - 25% charge
15 days prior to excursion date - 50% charge
14 days or less prior to excursion date - Full charge
* No shows, or late arrivals are charged the full amount.
You may change the date of your tour (depending on availability) for no extra charge, but must notify us within 48 hours of the tour date.
Q: What kind of payment is required?
A: We maintain a strict policy of never overbooking excursions. Space on our tours is limited, and frequently booked in advance. Our policy is that tours are paid for in full at the time of reservation. By reserving online now you can ensure you will take part in high quality - and highly enjoyable - vacation activities while in Puerto Vallarta.
Q: What are my responsibilities as a traveler?
A: Trip members have certain responsibilities to Vallarta Adventure and to other trip members. Trip members are responsible for preparing for the trip by studying the Trip Itinerary and supplemental trip information sent by Vallarta Adventure; for following normal standards of personal hygiene in order to lessen the risk of travelers' diseases, for following normal social behavior patterns with fellow trip members; for acting in an appropriate manner in accordance with the customs of Mexico; and for completing the itinerary as scheduled (or as adjusted in the field as necessary). At the leader's discretion, a member may be asked to leave the trip if the leader feels the person's further participation may be detrimental to other trip's members or to the individual.
Q: How far in advance should I book my Vallarta Adventure excursion?
A: Book your excursion as soon as you are certain of your trip dates, so that you can be assured of a guaranteed space. We recommend booking at least 1 – 3 weeks prior to your desired excursion date, especially for our Dolphin Adventure, as it is our most popular excursion. | |
